Marcus Bekker comes from West Sussex, in the UK, and was formerly a member of a chart group known as Exhibit A.
His musical roots are in reggae but, as you will hear from his new material, he has ventured beyond the confines of any single genre to produce very different kinds of music, all very individual to him.

Do you play live?
Only making occasional appearances at festivals as part of the InterMet Roadshow at present.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Made it possible for artists to reach their public without the aid (or hindrance) of major labels and radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
He would seriously consider any beneficial offer, especially one that would further the promotion of his musical style.
Band History:
Marcus Bekker comes from West Sussex, (in the UK) and was formerly a member of a chart group known as Exhibit A (1986-87), loosely styling themselves on UB40 and performing solely original material which included their debut single 'Machines Of War.' Their main base of operation was in London & the home counties.
His musical roots are in reggae but, as you will hear from his new material, he has ventured beyond the confines of any single genre to produce very different kinds of music, all very individual to him. He has been mostly working solo until moving to the Herefordshire countryside where he met and began to collaborate with JP on production and the digital distribution of his music to further expand his own project studio and label called Bekstasy.

Generally Yamaha keyboards of various descriptions, mostly in the PSR series.

He has also been in demand as a creative sound engineer, working with numerous bands in the south east of the UK.
