the-paradox consists of ethos (the Emcee) and carpe (the deejay). Ethos, also has a song available at www.soundclick.com/ethos. Carpe is a member of the post-hardcore rock group As Dawn Falls. You can find more about As Dawn Falls at www.asdawnfalls.com. The members attend Roseville High School together and will graduate this year...
Why this name?
We chose The-Paradox because Paradox:Effect was gay.

Nope. We intend to start our own label: And A Day records, which will predominantly feature rock acts. Contact us for label info.
Band History:
We met during our sophomore year of high school, and have been great friends since. Gradually we have grown on eachother and now Carpe respects hip hop, and Ethos respects rock. It was a great trade.
Your influences?
Ethos likes Atmosphere, Eyedea, Brother Ali, Aesop Rock and other artsy-nerd poetry hip hoppers. He also likes Linkin Park. Carpe is into rock groups like Thrice and AFI.
Favorite spot?
The batcave.
