Greyhound90 is a music project which was born on February 2002 in the heart of an accient Prague. Greyhound90 makes soundtrack to films, especially for young students from film schools. The last act was soundtrack for "Lola is running again". Music is about loneliness of thousands people lost in big cities.
Why this name?
I like Greyhound buses - as a symbol of a journey, freedom, big space, adventure, new places
Do you play live?
No. I´m closed in our studio. Still. But it cloud change - never say never.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hmmm, it ´s a some kind of revolution or so... And we are in.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it could be possible, I would. Why not?
Band History:
As there was said, the Greyhound90 is here from the February 2002 in Prague, Czech republic. Greyhound90 is me and the second me of my own. The idea was born in my head, when I very often walk through the centre of the Prague, mostly late night, try the underground and fel lonely. Sometime it was nice to keep walkin´ sometimes I was depressed.
Your influences?
Well, there are many and many of my favourites but... Elisa Carthy - I love her!!! It's music of my heart.I´m really impressed. And others - Bjork, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Digital Buddha, HIM, Oldfield.... I prefer keyboard music because I use keyboards and computer in my composing. I like experimental bands, ambient music
Favorite spot?
Prague. It´s a mystic place on the earth. The nights especially are very nice.
Equipment used:
I use Yamaha DJX1. That´s all and I used Cakewalk Pro Audio 8.0 as a sequencer sometimes.
