Stand Out was a hardcore punk band born on September 11th of 1999 from the stark nightmare that is the rotting foundations of what used to be suburban southern California (San Bernardino) but as the 20th century came to a close and the 21st century began, became a speed and crack addicted hell hole rife with violent crime and a suffocating economy. They as people and as a band we're a glimpse into the face of the Inland Empire and all the sickness intertwined with hope that entails.
Why this name?
We chose out band name as a statement of purpose, I think that explains it well enough.
Do you play live?
We played live throughout Southern California from Hollywood to San Diego.I hope some of you had an opportunity to catch us. There are special moments too numerous to even begin to mention.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
You're here aren't you?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If a record label wants to give a big advance to a band that broke up in July then bring it on.
Your influences?
Waaaay to many bands to list.
Equipment used:
Broke ass equipment.
Anything else...?
ANNNNNNNNNNNNNYTHING!
