Bob Huston, guitarist/songwriter
TN is where I'm call home these days. I came to Nashville for the music (and better weather than what I had. I am a diehard Steelers fan but watch the Titans play every week also.
I was part of a group of mp3.com blues players that met in Nashville and created a blues cd of original material. Click on the image to jump to the cool blues allstars page and music.
Why this name?
Hey...I was born with it!
Do you play live?
Well, Nashville, TN is the home of American music, and I'm all about music, so I guess I'm at home now. Living here is real cool. I've had the chance to jam with some of the most established musicians in the world. Any night, I can hop in my car, head downtown and find a jam. It's not just about country music here; there is blues, rock, bluegrass, etc., etc....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The i-net has opened up a whole new world musically for both players and listeners. Now, instead of having only commercially produced music available, the listener can search the web and find music that they can really relate to. The player/songwriter can market their product to the world now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably aint gonna happen, so why worry about it?
