Why this name?
Well, the # 5 is my favorite for one thing. I wished for a place that people could go to in their minds and listen to the beautiful music that comes from there. I have to remind myself that -- at least for this band, I want to keep it pure and peaceful, but fun too of course.
Do you play live?
I'm not one to play live right now. I've been at some small get-togethers where people show their various talent. But who knows...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Lots of music right at your fingertips, it's great! Lots of stations on the net that cater to your own personal music tastes.
Band History:
I've been a guitar player on and off, but I decided one day that I would try playing piano. I've done that for maybe two years now. I was able to get a keyboard and that has been a great outlet for transferring whats in my head. Since my brain is kind of hardwired for electronic music because I think different sounds, so the keyboard really allows me to express that.
Your influences?
Perhaps too many to think about right now, but I was introduced to Techno and such when I was in Korea 1999. A buddy of mine let me borrow quite a few CDs, I stayed up all night to enthrall myself in the sound. Loved it ever since.
Favorite spot?
I've been in Dongducheon South Korea. I miss it.
Equipment used:
Yamaha Keyboard, Reaper, Logic Pro(NeW to me), ZynAddSubFX | Trancedrive + many other VSTi synths, Guitar - Fender Squire strat + RP100 Digitech board. Audio-Technica ATH-M45 Headphones. Mixing board + Roland Keyboard, etc. for Logic.
Anything else...?
I'm having so much fun discovering many software synths and sounds. Much of this >Sector< is still unexplored to me.
