One of the first songs we ever wrote was called "Spirit Of The Prospector",(which is on our first CD) and when we were trying to come up with a name, Cripple Creek seemed right because it was a gold mining town in Colorado in the 1800's.

We were doing cover tunes in the bars but that got old real quick. We decided to put our energies into writing and recording our own material.

Then everyone can hear our music.

The Cripple Creek Band consists of 5 guys who love to write and play music, we're not just band-mates we're friends as well.

Joe, Tom and Pep have been influenced by Rock, while Tim is a Country music buff and Artie, our drummer, is into Alternative & Metal. We think it makes for a unique combination. I'm sure you'll agree once you give the music a listen.
