Started playing folk and classical Spanish guitar back in my teens. Discovered a passion for songwriting in the late '90s and have written many lyrics but due to time constraints, have only 'completed' a few songs - so if any composers reading this want to collaborate, drop me a line...
Do you play live?
I perform mainly solo on the local folk club circuit in the Essex area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a revolution; every artist can get heard anywhere and at any time. The opportunities for collaboration with like minded people are outstanding.
Your influences?
As long as a song's got a good melody, well crafted lyrics and some originality - I'm probably going to like it and be 'influenced' by it.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere not raining...
Equipment used:
Hard disk recording using a Yamaha XG sound card, XGWORKS sequencer, guitars: Spanish (a beautiful instrument - made by my brother!), OG outdoor guitar, Crafter electro acoustic and Yamaha Pacifica electric, Zoom505, Goldstar midi keyboard, Sure 87A condenser mic.
