We are Dead End Drive In(D.E.D.I), a Horror Rock band from Anderson,IN. We blend punk rock and metal with Doo Wop and Rockabilly to make our blend of Rock n' Roll. Listen to us and we hope you dig it.
Why this name?
The band name Dead End Drive In to us is basically a metaphore for our lives. Dead End meaning we've done A LOT to get some where and always end up no where. Drive In meaning well Drive In. We love drive in theaters, and it's just a place where you can watch movies in the comfort of your own car and just get away for a while and not deal with all the dumb sh*** in the world.
Then we also go by the shorter form D.E.D.I.

Do you play live?
Yes, but right now we're looking for a permanent drummer.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great!! Unsigned bands can get their name out and try to attract an audience all over the world. As oppose to just their local area.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. We work hard at what we do, why wouldn't we want as many people as possible to hear it and be able to live off of it and put more time into our music.
Band History:
DEDI was formed in July of 2004 by Hallow Terror, Ben Ghoulvin, and then drummer Justin Schock. In mid 2005 DEDI entered the studio to record what has affectionately been called the "Roryfellar Sessions" with new drummer Sammy Joseph. DEDI has been gaining recognition and has played shows with Trashlight Vision, Michale Graves, Blitzkid, The Koffin Kats, and The Independents just to name a few. They plan on keeping this train going and would love nothing more than to play to people of all kinds and all ages. D.E.D.I.'s sound is haunting yet, refreshing as its melody and meaning chorus together to make a strong 1-2 punch.
Your influences?
We have a WIDE variety of influences:
Mister Monster, Blitzkid, Slayer, Misfits, AFI, Lesley Gore, Dion and the Belmonts, Alice Cooper, KISS, Tiger Army, Bad Religion, Pennywise, No Use For A Name, Green Day, the list goes on and on, but we are the type of people that will listen to anything as long as it's good.

Favorite spot?
Dayton,OH. has been very good to us. We've been welcomed with open arms there. As for our own area it'd be Muncie,IN. It's a college town so there's plenty of diversity so there are a ton of people with open minds.
