Do you play live?
I play with my duo partner Richard Dennis. We've been a duo for 20 years. We play weekends at a classic steakhouse named Dear John's in Culver City, Ca. Founded with seed money from Sinatra it is a well known watering hole for the neighborhood and we've been a good fit for close to three years. Tunes on SoundClick site we perform live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Obviously it's changed the industry from production to distribution. The "biggies" can now be bypassed but it makes for much more flotsam to wade through. That's a small price to pay for the freedom of choice now offered to both musician and audience. The "cream" will still always rise.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At this point in my life, only if they gave me final cut option, let me keep my copyrights and gave me say in marketing...so now that you mention it...nah!
