Communiy 5 is a group of four young musicians who try to incorporate their influences into what we define as the c5 sound.
Why this name?
One of us fell down the steps and saw it in a vision.
Do you play live?
The band plays all over Ohio, esepecially Northeast Ohio. We have played at John Caroll, The Lime Spider, The Odeon, Cedar's to name a few. We love to play and meet new people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives everyone the ability to discover what they like and what they don't without having to invest too much. It would be ideal if they would attend concerts as a result, but i don't know if the pros will weigh out the cons. I don't think that anyone should rely on the internet for anything. It's important to stay active in the community and get out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Undecided.

Equipment used:
Marshall JCM 2000 half stack, 1964 Sears Silvertone w/ 6 10" jensens, 1980 Fender 140 Half Stack, Audio-Technica mics, SIT Strings, Ludwig Drums from 1950, Kustom 200 Blue Glitter amp. We have some cool vintage gear. Each of our guitarists uses several guitars on stage. It's what we love to do - play guitar.
