Watershed is three acclaimed musicians from Vermont presenting original music that is thoughtful, energetic and fun. Using a variety of instruments (guitars, bass, & misc. drums) and blending three voices, Watershed's material is diverse and stimulating. Warning: Audiences should expect to laugh, cry and shout with joy!
Why this name?
Aaron came up with this. Sort of sums up our direction - a gathering of music.
Do you play live?
We do play live although not as much as we would like due to the fact that all three of us have full time music lives with other groups.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Greater access and opportunity.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No - it has happened and we do not recomment it - stay independent - you'll make more money and last longer.
Band History:
Patrick Fitzsimmons (Guitar, Drums, Vocals) Patrick served his professional music tenure as the drummer of From Good Homes, a folk/rock band out of New Jersey signed to RCA Records in the late '90's. Aaron Flinn (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals) A prolific songsmith and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing and recording material to rave reviews internationally for nearing a dozen years. He has released two full-length albums and won the 1996 2nd Annual Acoustic Guitar Search. Flinn has opened for Don McLean at a 1400 seat theater and graduated magna cum laude from Berklee College of Music. He has been named one of the best folk artist in the state of Vermont for 1997.

Howard Wooden (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) Howard's talents are often sought by other musicians for studio work and he can be found singing or playing on numerous CD's. He just released his latest CD "Friends Gone By" (on which both Patrick and Aaron also perform) on the Gadfly Records label.
