2112 is the innovator and pioneer of live synchronized video since 2001. We have tried to capture the live Rush experience by using vintage Rush footage and the only band in existence to use it....we do it all OURSELVES! Currently there are other bands out there are now trying variations of what we have done since 2001....but don't be fooled! We host the largest amount of VIDEOS on the web of any Rush tribute.
2112 is honored to be considered by many to be the best sounding and entertaining Rush tribute band in the world. Those that do attribute this to our authentic live sound, feel, vocals, and video entertainment. We are both honored and thankful for the compliments we receive. You will find no other Rush tribute that exhibits as much passion and pride as we do. After all, Rush is the BEST, and Rush fans DESERVE the best.

Why this name?
2112 is easily recognizable as "they must be a Rush tribute band", and even the casual Rush fan recognizes "2112" as Rush.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Can't...this music 'belongs' to Rush
Your influences?
Rush is an influence. And Rush. Oh yeah, did I say Rush? Anyway, being the singer it is hard to understand why, but Neil Peart influences and inspires me. I guess it is his mastery of his instrument, something we all strive for but rarely achieve. Alex inspires me for his ability to make his guitar sound 'big'; like more than 3 guys playing and handling MOOG pedal fills. Geddy is totally awe-inspiring for playing those difficult syncopated bass lines while singing, and also hitting the floor triggers for sampling/keyboard bass lines. He makes it appear effortless.
Favorite spot?
Toronto, Canada July 13 2002 since we have been chosen to play at RushCon 2002!! (www.RushCon.org) 3 days of Rush, love and peace.
Anything else...?
Hope to play out a bit more for y'all..help us out and spread the word...
