FiftyDeuce is the new sound of South Carolina. The duo is comprised of CoreY and Cliff Thurmond, two cats out of Florence, SC who are not afraid to rap on any type of track. FiftyDeuce is breaking the stereotype of SC rappers, spitting what has never been “spat” before…
Why this name?
Cliff thought it up because he travels down Highway 52 from Florence to Darlington to record at my house. Also, we are chunking 50 deuces to the lames as we pass by..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allow people to find and listen to the kind of artists they want to hear, but it hurts a lot the music labels trying to make money..
