How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is a necessary evil that helps the "average" music layperson gain access to having a level battleground with the majors. With internet access the average Joe can run up against Sony, MCA, Epic or Def Jam and the gloves are off with a fair referee.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
