Do you play live?
Myself and my Contra Associates, The Special Ops Click, which Contra Band was a branch of, Have opened for Run Dmc and Juvenile. Run Dmc being the special moment for obvious reason.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its great because its bringing people together from all over the country, and giving us the opportunity to make music together.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Well myself, P double grew up in New York and moved down to Florida during my High School Years. That is where I met Saga, and all of the other Contra Affiliates. We grew up together drinking too much and beating the sh*** out of people. Crashing parties, hitting on your girlfriend right in front of you ,making fun of you in your own house, laughing at girls, stealing shit, strongarmed robberies,Home invasions, fighting everyone-and I swear Im not exagerating at all- You name it we probably did it. Our families behavior unfortunatly has landed a couple of the crew in Prison. But they know we thinkin about em. We all shared a passion for music over the years, and that passion has manifested itself into the Almighty Contra Band. Dont think for a second that just cause were grown up now were not passed jumpin you though, cause were still full of piss and vineagar(and we all own guns now so please dont f*** with us).
Nallege is up top in New York reppin that L.I. shit. We met and just clicked. The first song we made together, Son its on, on our music page is just crazy. If you listen to that song it almost sounds like we had been making joints for years but that was the first one. So while myself and Sag are down in the cocaine infested streets of Florida, Nallege is up top in New York, the birthplace of Hip Hop, keepin us grounded. And even though Im from New York myself, I almost feel like we just reppin the whole east coast. We got a really big sound.

All the greats KRS 1, Rakim, Run Dmc, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Whodini, Ulramagnetic MC's, Das Efx, Tribe, Black Sheep, De la, Cypress Hill, Wu-tang, NWA, The Infamous Mobb Deep(one of our favs), Nas, AZ, BIG, Jigga, all the Mc's that have left a lasting impact we have studied.
Favorite spot?
New York City-The Mecca of Hip Hop. I dont give a f*** if you are "bout it, bout it" , you must respect NY, the birthplace of this music we love-Hip Hop.
