I'm Blake Stephenson. Been writing songs and singing since I could remember. I also produce my own tracks as well. I have been told I have a smooth and unique sound, I also like other artist with unique sounds.
Why this name?
It's a name I gave myself when I started singing as a solo artist.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3/Internet makes it very easy to get heard by many people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the chance ever come along, but if I have success independently, that route doesn't sound bad either.
Your influences?
I'm a big fan of the Pop/R&B/alternative 80's and 90's sound. I also like alot of bands and artists who sound is really unique and different. N.E.R.D., The Black Eyed Peas, The White Stripes, my list goes on and on.
Favorite spot?
Never been there, but would like to visit New York and Los Angeles one day. Anywhere music is involved.
Equipment used:
I do my music on Fruity Loops, and my vocals on Cool Edit Pro.
