I usually make music by myself, but I love collaborating as well.
It's hard for me to categorize the kind of music that I make.
Although certain beats definitely fall into one category, most of what I make is a mix of trip hop and film score type music.

Why this name?
Vérité means "Truth" in French. I have been living in the USA for 10 years now and I wanted a name that would bring me closer to my roots. I grew up in the suburbs of Paris, France.
Do you play live?
I don't currently play live. I'd much rather spend time making beats in my studio.
If I am at a show where one of my beats is playing, I am in the crowd sipping on a drink, and checking out people's reactions...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great to be able to hear all the talent out there. I love receiving feedback and providing feedback. We're all helping each other out to become better at what we do.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, absolutely, if the deal was right for me.
