"About PAINTREND: Press Release

Late 2006 has brought back ex-REGIMENT guitarist "CD" Curtis Dillon to the music scene.
The 1st installment entitiled Dog Tags and Body Bags can only be described as a Dark Instrumental journey treading the line of the heavy and insane.
With a true mix of old school riff work and a sense of modern metal, the raw emotion is very apparent.
Garnering a huge underground following worldwide, the legion of PAINTREND soldiers span from the United States, all the way to Germany and Australia.

2007 brought the release of the 2nd CD, Gift Of Hate, with fan clubs around the world popping up. Fan loyalty grew to an all time high with more media exposure.

2009 brought the awaited release of Defacing The Monster wich takes the sound to a new level of heavy and dark.
