Yo, what's good! I'm JBeats, one of the four members of ISP. Making Hits is what we specialize in. I've been producing now almost 11 years, and I'm just beginning to get started. I started playing the piano by ear at the age of five. I thank and give praises to God for the talent He has given me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is the best thing and the worst thing to happen to the music industry. It's the best because I can feasibly reach out to anybody any in the world, but on the other hand it has helped in dilluting real talent, which makes it harder to shine through. But I trust God will give me my light.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would. Being Independent is only great if everybody already knows you. I think those saying that they would rather be independent are those who haven't been approached by the majors.
Your influences?
All music is an influence on me.
Favorite spot?
A place where music is a passion and not a fad.
Equipment used:
Reason 4.0, protools, Roland XP-50, and whatever I can use.
