Formed in 1998, the Armchair Heroes are a rock band, who refuse to lump themselves into a sub-genre. The 5 members, consisting of Paul Stefankiewicz on vocals, Dave Quinn and Jim Cooney on guitar, Ross Sumner on drums and Dave Fernandes on bass, each bring their own personal tastes into the writing mix. Not afraid to experiment with different sounds and styles,they achieve much diversity between songs, while keeping the overall feel that makes the Armchair Heroes brand of rock, their own. Growing up in a the dense, musical hot-bed that is Burlington, Ontario, has always pushed bands in the area to set high standards for both their writing and performing, and the Armchair Heroes are no exception. The band has released 3 EPs, 1 full length album, and played a countless number of live shows in Southern Ontario.
