Love is Life Entertainment Presents Da Committee. DC's premiere Hip-Hop group. A collection of some of the tightest emcees in the metro area. Why this name?
We chose the name Da Committee because this group is not a put together group. Each indivual artist has control over the project and holds an office within the company. Our record label gives us creative control over the music we produce and we all add our own style and flava to the group.
Do you play live?
You can catch Da Commiitee performing live throughtout the DC area. And we are coming to your city soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has diffintely changed to game. It gives independent record lables like ours a opportunity to heard without breaking the bank. Now indies can compete with the big boys.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the opportunity came up, maybe. We are more interested in a distribution deal.
