My real name is Lavontae. My production name is Majestic Mastermind. I am a Beatmaker, Songwriter, Freelance Video game composer, and Pianist. I'm from VA, and been making music since 2004 at 14.
5 years years later, around 2009-2010, I started learning some music theory and how to play the piano by ear, this started to make me take creativity more seriously because I could feel how the music theory principles I learned help make music more emotional.
I like music from RPG games such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. The first piano song I learned was from a Kingdom Hearts video game. I believe in quality over quantity, I value creativity, and I'm focused on making the best music to bring to loyal fans and clients.
Finally, I enjoy exercising/working out, video games, movies, making music, going out, swimming, and just..living

Do you play live?
No, I just play by myself for now...once I get better I think I will try to play live in public places
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The most important thing to me is that it has allowed creative artists everywhere to get their music directly to fans and not using a middleman where you will have less creative freedom
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, I'm more focused on doing freelance work since there is more creative freedom
