SoundClick artist: DJAxios - Someone you loves music.

Well, I sat down one day and tried to think of a unique name for me to use as an online name. After some thinking I came up with Axios, which I thought was unique but turns out to be a Greek name and the name of a river, in Greece. Go figure.

Do you play live?

Not really, I enjoy the control of the studio. I guess that's not the best way to make money!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It makes everything more single orientated, no more albums. Also the aspects of free distribution of files can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It's something the industry is still trying to figure out.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Sure, but I'm truly looking for someone who will give me a chance to make a real production. I don't need a million dollars, just a small, low risk chance at the chance.

Band History:

Uh, well, I've loved music for all my life. I now enjoy making music. I also have been rapping and writing for about 10 years, its fun.

Your influences?

Oh man, too many to mention. Hip-hop wise I guess, Ice Cube, Rakim, Kool G Rap, and like Sir Jinx, Pete Rock, Large Professor. Other than that, I love Soul and Funk music, along with a lot of Blue and Rock. The list is large, but I tend to dislike 98% of music after 2000.

Favorite spot?

Saint Louis! Forest Park is nice. Kirkwood.
