Garage band from the Chicago metro area. We play mostly pop rock in the vein of Cheap Trick/Elvis Costello. All of our songs are free for download. No lawsuits here.
Why this name?
Named after the bass player's dog. His wife had a picture of Aspen on the dashboard of her car, similar to the "Dashboard Jesus" many of my friends parents had in their car as I grew up.
Do you play live?
We are starting to look for venues now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives an outlet for bands like ours that want to get our music out without having to go through the expense of printing CDs.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
There would have to be a lot of guaranteed money since we all have good day jobs at this time.
