Flint Rock Theory
NEWS   Well, while I'm currently looking for a house, I do have some good news. Soon I'll be working on recording a album for a buddy of mine. He's a folk singer, but plays many different types of songs. I might have him play some rythem or lead guitar for me while I finish up some of my songs for "The World's Not Big Enough" album.

Hey! Thanks for checkin' out my soundclick page! A little history about Flint Rock Theory for all ya'll. Flint Rock Theory was formed at the end 2007 after I realized that I really wanted to record and produce my own music (mostly because I couldn't find anyone that wanted to be in a band with me). None of my work friends like my music and my close friends don't care for most of it, but I'm working on developing the skills and music talent and hopfully I'll start making some catchy music someday. Me personally I enjoy the music writing and production process, but sometimes I get stuck in a "never good enough" rut. My own personal hang up I guess; anyway, enjoy and keep checking back for updates!
Why this name?
Flint Rock Theory is my way of getting back to the basics of everything, thoughts, feelings, simple song writing and just plain old everyday life.
Do you play live?
I do play live, but not any of the music you see here. I sometimes play my guitar on a park bench, or sidewalk, things like that.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love it! It's taking the middle man out of the equation. That being said, don't miss understand, I think even today that music labels play a huge part in a musician career. They have their place and make good use of it, but as for us independents, especially the singer songwriter producer types like me, having complete freedom and giving us the ability to connect with people without having to land that record label is a huge step forward.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure! Considering I don't have the capital (at least until I hit the lottery, or win the World Series of Poker in 2010) to really push a album independently, I'd be dumb not to.
