Slow Marching Band
Larry Hansen from Connecticut, USA, and James Griffiths from Scotland, UK, have played and recorded with several bands over the years, both eventually following separate paths leading towards recording music in their home studios.

Slow Marching Band was born of an on-line collaboration between Larry and James around 3 years ago. On an internet forum for recording software Larry added some mandolin to an instrumental track that James had posted, a bond was struck, one track lead to another, and here we are.. with our debut CD! This is available on CD Baby!

We've found over time that our guitar styles are ideally suited to each other, and musically we think the same way and have shared influences. Recently we met in person for the first time, and recorded several new pieces together, in the same room!

We're now forging ahead with almost a dozen new tracks in the pipeline, most of which will form the backbone of our second collection.
