I'm Adam Hofman. I live in a very boring town by the name of Mason City, Iowa. I play guitar, piano, and sing in my one man band. Most of my original songs are about sad things, with lyrics that make you think. I majorly focus on the lyrics of the song instead of trying to make it "radio worthy." I hope I can get signed to a label someday and make a living doing what I love.

Yes, mostly locally.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I do not think sharing music over the internet changes the music industry at all. I believe, no matter what, there will always be people buying music. No matter how accessable it becomes. I myself cannot go a week without buying a new CD, but i still download songs. It gives a listener a chance to listen to not just the best known song. If anything, I think it helps the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definatly!
Band History:
Been writing songs ever since i got my guitar 4 years ago. Started recording last year. Since then I have recorded an EP (In Desperate Need of A Drummer), and a LP (Incompetence).
