WELCOME BACK. Ghost Orgy has been locked in the studio conjuring up unworldy spirits to help assist them with the process. Their first full-length album will soon be unleashed. You all thought we were gone, unfortunately for you that is not the case. If you hated our first offering, our new one will only solidify that hate.
"I'm not sure I know what a ghost orgy would be like but this band is excellent. Musically they go way beyond typical. They encompass doom, traditional, and gothic metal - actually capturing an original sound. This is just a three song introduction, expect great things in the near future."
- Transcending the Mundane
"Ghost Orgy was an eerie and excellent surprise for me. It's part sultry vixen, part maniac, and tremendously interesting to listen to. These 3 songs ("Born Dead", "Seeds of Ecstasy", and "Diva of Destruction") are excellent and I highly recommend that anyone into any kind of heavy dark music."
- 1340 Mag
"Ghost Orgy may look like a gothed up nu-metal bunch, but this quartet offers up a bewitching brew of disparate sensibilities. Piling crunch metal atop a mutant form of swamp rock - snake like GO craft constantly coiling songs, fittingly fronted by the serpentine, Gitane Demone-esque vox of Dina Concina."
- Terrorizer
"Eerily enticing and deliciously dissonant and forever haunting, the sound of Ghost Orgy magnificently defies the modern boundaries of rock music."
- Metal Maniacs
"A mix between Evanescence and Disturbed the band has both powerful lyrics and great music."
- LP Alliance
"Dina Concina's vocals are wickedly captivating; her voice is one of temptation, making you want more but giving you the feeling that something evil is lurking in the background. Goth/metal played with a bigger crunch than Lacuna Coil."
- Live 4 Metal
"Ghost Orgy is a Gothic metal band whose seductively ominous sound can be attributed to both the outfit's ghastly grooves as well as the front woman's gloomy yet sexy delivery. Ghost Orgy's music could undoubtedly provide the background music for conjuring souls or something else as wicked."
- 3:16 Productions
"Exactly how to describe their music is not a simple case of this or that style."
- Primal Agony
"Ghost Orgy are one of the few great bands out there."
- Steppin’ Out
Eerily enticing, deliciously dissonant and forever haunting, the sound of Ghost Orgy magnificently defies the modern boundaries of rock music. With loquacious lullabies such as the fittingly entitled Born Dead and Diva of Destruction, Ghost Orgy takes tonal math and sonic brutality to an emotionally disturbing level.
Rising from the bowels of New York City and Jersey City the Filipina fronted incarnation materialized from a set of deviant isolationist spirits painstakingly found through 5 years of arduous auditions conducted by creator/guitarist Meric Sarkhov. The stylistic differences between all involved were thrown by the wayside as they gelled into their new form. The beautifully intense and diverse voice of Dina Concina pummels the vocal registry with malicious melodies while the solid rhythmic backbone of Roy Van Tassel and Reprobus sums all.
Recently added and Transylvania, Romania transplanted violist Elena Doroftei now graces our audible sensibilities with an undeniable heritage of cruelty which manifests itself through her insidious sound, oily yet skeletal, something you might find suitable if you enjoy frostbitten nights and hate people.
When all is said and done it makes for a mysteriously powerful potion that is to be sipped at your own risk.
Ghost Orgy is currently playing shows in the northeastern U.S. and working on their first full-length album "Lullabies for Lunatics" which is slated for release later this year on Thoth Records/BP Distro.
