Each member is from a different part of our hometown. We figured we would be City Council since we each represent a different district

We have opened for Naughty by Nature, and worked with several acts around the MidWest.Have played the local club circuit and always looking to get booked. We feel like shows are a necessary thing to do for interaction with our fans.

Yes it does, In good ways and in bad ways. We must all be aware of how this technology effects the music industry because it can make or break you.

That can only be answered if the right offer comes along.

Growing up in Indiana, smack dab in the heart of the Midwest, somewhere on the line that separates urban and rural living, the members of City Council have seen and experienced a little bit of everything. Their music is a perfect example of this diverse way of life. Their words are a story that’s one of a kind. A story inspired by, pleasure, pain, concrete, corn, the hustle and Indiana living.
Consisting of six members with six different styles, each having their own story to tell, City Council brings all sorts of entertainment to the table. The name City Council comes from the merger of two crews to achieve the same goal and shine a light on Indiana. The group 812 (Dame Dizzle, Lil Ant, Cane and Baker Boi) hooked up with Skitz, a local battle M.C., and a, M.C./Producer known as Suga Shane to form City Council.
Now that the table has been set, City Council is ready to take the world by storm, starting with the Midwest. With the lead single, “The Anthem (The I.U. Song)”, creating a huge buzz across the state in the past 6 months, the upcoming album is sure to create some noise. With so much talent in one group, you can look forward to hearing a lot from them in the near future. The Council is now in session.

We are influenced by all genre's of music and all types of hip-hop. We take all our influences to create our own vibe.
