2 For the Money is composed of one singer (Daunte) and one rapper (P-Doub). Both artisits are natives of Bronx, NY, where they formed their love for music. Before music, they were dedicated students and basketball players at the collegiate and semi-pro level. Music was just a pass time and hobby for both artists, until they performed together for one show which then ignited the spark for their adventure into the music industry. Joining forces in 2006, the duo began putting their sounds together and have not looked back ever since. With no management or assistance they have recently set up their own college campus tour by calling up the campuses and organizations themselves for a slot in any of the schools upcoming shows. Through this dedication they have performed in numerous cities and in front of crowds from 100 up to 4,000. They have opened up for artists such as Remy Ma, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Letoya Luckett, Fabolous, and Trey Songz. Their sense of style and musical approach is different than other artists and that is something they pride themselves on.
