We are a independant production and recording company that has been puttin out hot music since 2006. Most of our artists are originally from tha south but now residing in New Mexico, we like hard hitting bass lines and up tempo beats. Currently we are working on the labels second mixtape and several artist's solo albums. We are not your typical southern rap type of label, we do heart felt songs that people can ride to and say i've been there before. We also do club music and love to see people on tha floor feelin the beats and lyrics to our shit. You can expect nothin but real stories bein told and music to make ya head bop out of our camp.
Why this name?
Because we make music that is one of a kind and i feel that there isn't anybody else doin it like we are.
Do you play live?
Yes, we do perform in and around the 505 area buit are looking to expand outwards with our shows and music. Of course i love to be on stage there is no feeling in the world that can top bein on stage wit people singin along with your lyrics, it's unbelievable!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel that because of the internet artist and labels alike can benefit from promotion and marketing that you couldn't get unless you were signed with a major label.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depending upon terms you know that major artists ain't making near as much as they should be.
Your influences?
My personal music influences are alot of southern rappers like eightball and mjg, young jeezy, allstar, fifty, and anybody doin sh*** i can relate to that is authentic not just make believe. I love dr. dre's beats there is nobody better!
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is Nashville TN
Equipment used:
We use a 88 key triton workstation and sampler. Our recording program is Cubase, I know alot of people like pro tools because it is a industry standard, but i like the features of cubase much more. We have a soundproof booth with a Sm57 Sure microphone and also use a mpc drum machine.
Anything else...?
