" THE POWER OF LOVE "

We feel powerful when we have lots of money
We feel powerful by owning lots of land
We feel powerful when we own silver and gold
We feel powerful when we over power any man

Do you want to know where the real power is
The real power comes from above
Yet none of us seem to want to possess
The mighty power of love

Real love can be powerful
When used in the right way
The love for your fellow man
Can help him make it through the day

The power of love can feed the hungry
The homeless in a warm bed
Love can heal many sicknesses
It can put the crown of life on your head

The power of love can make a crook go straight
Love can get him back on the right track
Taking him down the road of righteousness
Love wont let nothing turn him back

Now whats so good about this poem
We all can possess the power of love
This power God gives to everyone
It comes freely from above

The power of love wont cost you a dime
Let the thought sink into your mind
With the power of love you can do anything
You can overcome stumbling blocks of any kind
