Why this name?
Well...we wanted a name that didn't chain us into any one style or genre. And we wanted something with the ability to mean different things for different listeners, so we opened up a dictionary of cliches and thumbed around until we found every inch a king, a phrased originally attributed to Shakespeare (if I recall correctly), but was certainly easily interpreted in a variety of ways, depending on the mindset of the individual listener.
Some days we may play slow & mellow, some days fast & hard, and other days we're thinkers, or just clowning around, but either way, we are Every Inch A King!

Do you play live?
Once.
Hahaha, no, really, once in a blue moon would be more accurate! Adrian suffers from stagefright and performance anxiety (and he'll probably kill me for telling you this), but a few fans have managed to talk him into playing acoustic sets in the living room on occassion, and once we actualy had the whole group play at a party of our close friends and fans.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Most obviously by giving us a chance to get our music out, even if only in this small amount. And that is subject to however much effort one puts into it, I think. We hope to be able to devote more time and energy to spreading the word about Every Inch A King, which should provide us with more "buzz" in the future, whereas before the internet, there were very limited options for a studio band to be heard on the local scene, and almost no option for being heard beyond the local scene.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably...who am I kidding, given the right parameters, absolutely we would.
Band History:
Me and Adrian were roommates a million years ago and the lights went out. We were bored so we started writing music together and we enjoyed it so much that we still do it, even though we have electricity now...
Your influences?
The Beatles. Need I say more? Really, we like music of all genres, but we're rather picky on our selections of who we think represents those given genres well. Basically though, if its good music - its good music, right?
Favorite spot?
I like the Gspot! (LOL, can I say that here?)
Equipment used:
Apple laptop, a guitar, a keyboard, some pen and paper. Oh, and a microphone! (And sometimes Phillip brings his drums over, too!)
Anything else...?
We appreciate any feedback that listeners would like to give us, we recognize that we are still new to producing music, and that sometimes we may sound rough around the edges, but we keep practising and we often incorporate constructive criticism into what we do while we strive to improve the quality of our songwriting and the production value of our music, so if you have an opinion, speak up, please...the worst that'll happen is we ignore you, right? LOL
