Well in all honesty it was just word play intermixed with something that tickles your tongue lolz I remember one night sitting there thinking up different names and eventually landed on it. Was it by chance or meant to be? I don't know but what I do know is that it's going to be around for a very...very long time. :)

Pernicious Wishes usually sets up shows which include a variation of free styling, beat boxing, Dj's, impromptu, dancing, loud music, free styled producing, etc. More or less it's the clash of a rave and a hip hop show with elements of a house party feel all at once.

Played many shows, some were good, some were aight, we play all places but mostly just throw it down for the 435 :)

I believe the internet has opened up many gateways for musicians and listeners to share and express themselves in both good and bad ways. As for my opinion, I don't really have one I just make music ya know? So some people don't pay for their music, f*** it, they'll still be showing up at the shows ya know? So there's all sorts of legalities and problems arising, f*** it, I'ma just kick it and do what I do and let the others tear each other apart :D

I know a lot of people wanna do it on there own or be "underground" and what not but for me it's business, if there's money to be made and there's deal to be discussed, then let's discuss some deals and make some money lol

Originally started in October of 2009 by Nx (The Producer/Lyricist/Vocalist) & Hay Z Hay (Vocalist)

Released a Ep in October of 2009 and distributed it to friends and family.

Performed our first show in December of 2009 alongside The Demonic Saints (No longer in existence)

Released a single at the show in December and distributed it to attending fans.

Hosted a private new years eve bash where Pernicious Wishes performed.

Did a show at a local club in February of 2010 alongside ASF (No longer in existence)

Worked on music for the next 6 months before releasing the "Twisted Toons" single with B Side "Savage" which was distributed in the streets free of charge.

Performed at a local club in December of 2010 just as a little bonus for friends.

Released Pernicious Wishes: Vol.1 and distributed it in the streets free of charge.

Posted up three cd's (Pernicious Wishes: Vol.1, Pernicious Wishes: A Single Cell, Pernicious Wishes: 2012) on the internet for download in December 2010

In February of 2011 Nx posted up a new cd on the internet Pernicious Wishes: Start Here

In March of 2011 Nx remastered all cds and reposted them on the internet alongside Pernicious Wishes: 0 (Instrumentals from the old old cd back in October of 2009)

Performed at a local venue on April 20th, 2011 alongside DSE and distributed free copies of Pernicious Wishes: Start Here to attending fans.

On May 04th, 2011 Nx released a track titled "COMING SOON" which was announced as the intro to the upcoming and tba cd...

On July 07th, 2011 Nx released the album Pernicious Wishes: 2011 Pt.1 and went out in the streets pushing the product. Released around 300 copies and called it good, needed time to make the new cds.

Through out the year up unto November 5th, 2011 Nx had just released random tracks and two singles titled "Boom Music" which is an epic psychedelic track and "Neu Music" which has a complextro feel to it.

On November 5th, 2011 Nx released Pernicious Wishes 2011 Pt.2 as part of a promotional discography for free and is going to follow it up with his debut album "Question Marks".

Nx: When I was about 6 years old I had gotten the cd Dune: Dune from one of my cousins alongside Aqua: Aquarium from an older brother, so from a young age more upbeat happy music was in my life. Lot's of symphony works and operas filled my childhood. I listened to a lot of Sublime, and all those 90's bands but I took a special interest in Dune. Years pass by, I expand my repertoire, I begin listening to Infected Mushroom and other psy-trance artists at the age of 12, expanded more, Daft Punk and various other artists crept in, started listening to the Insane Clown Posse at age 14. Music filled my life, I keep expanding listening to artists like Aphex Twin and Dust Brothers, etc. etc. Nowadays I bump almost everything lol

When it comes to what influences my music, I believe every piece of music that's ever flowed into my ears has influenced it in one way or another. If I had to choose artists who directly influence my music, I'd say Dune, ICP, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, Infected Mushroom, MC Chris, Necro and a handful of others.

Just the streets, I mean when you produce you generally sit inside a lot just focusing on the music however whenever I get the chance I'm out there in the gutters scrubbin' it with my homies ya know?
