Sun7 (born Damion Rhodes) is a Producer/M.C./Creator of Exile Productions based in Orlando, Florida. Producing since 2002, he wrote, produced and arranged his first LP "Even @ The Darkest Hour" (digitally released in 2007), which featured the classics "Slow Kill" ft.Ghengis Khan, "Melodic Funk" ft. Tara Thomas, as well as an appearance by Venice,Itali dancehall great Nemo on "Kill a Soundbwoy".
In 2009 "General Principle" was trickled out intentionally to give listeners and Sun7 fans a small taste of what would coming in the near future, AFTER projects planned for 2011-12, and was only released for a limited time.
in 2010, Sun7 released his instrumental LP "Audio Narcotics" digitally in respect to the producers of the past who have released instrumental LP's with aspiring M.C.'s/D.J.s in mind, most especially.
Sun7 has performed in venues ranging from the Carolinas to France. His style is unpredictable, relentless, addictive; a no holds barred approach to preserving what Hip-Hop in it's rawest form was from day one: The Boom-Bap. Writing his own material, Sun7 can also noted for being a threat on the microphone. Rapping since 14, he has seen stages from Charlotte,NC to Nantes, France, all the while building Exile Productions from the ground up, one step at a time. Stay tuned for more.

Why this name?
the Sun is the primordial source of life, and also the dominating planet in my combination of astrological signs. 7 is the Day and hour of Birth, as well as my Karmic Number.
Do you play live?
performing live is obligatory to the growth of any artist in any genre of music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Without it...we'd be selling our cd's at gas stations.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on their motive,of course, but since the industry has a VERY bad track record....probably not.
Band History:
the history is just that...let us see our futures first...the past will be recorded.
Your influences?
no influences other than the foundations of pure Hip-Hop, and the evolution of music theory. But I dig all genres.
Favorite spot?
The Laboratory. :)
Equipment used:
Vegas,Acid,Soundforge,Cakewalk,Reason,Logic,X-Track,ect.
Anything else...?
Everyone Down with what I'm doing.
