Why this name?
I was actually just sitting around with some people, naming out random rap names. I was lingering around "Swift" but then I came across the word "Diligence." I told myself "Diligence, that sounds kinda iLL." So I just put the "J" infront of it, an' ran with it, forreal. That's pretty much how I got the name.
Do you play live?
I rap with my peoples, but that's about it. There's no better feeling when people tell you that you're nice, or did a good job. Even though most of them are just on your dick for a spot of the Lime-Light as well. But that'll always happen. Still boosts my confidence, nah'mean?
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows people to listen to music, or a certian muscian before they spend their money on a cd, or something related to that person. Nobody wants to spend dough on some wack cat, now do they?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YESSIR, I really would. As long as the money & circumstances were right. I'd be right there.
