KitCH'N Muzik was established in 2008 to provide artists quality beats for self expression through song. Music is the soundtrack to life and I bring the best out of the artist!! I have performed as a percussionist in a marching/symphonic band, a rapper, a singer, a poet, and as a bass in a choir.... so I understand the creative process very well as an artist and as a producer.

I represent KORTyard Entertainment, an extended network of musicians.

One of my homeboys, M.U. (Misunderstood) a.k.a. Mr. Emmortal can be reached:
Why this name?
It was simple.... I like to create. And the same creative process can go into cooking.... the same kind of effort and timing, it means everything. So KitCH'N Muzik was born.
Do you play live?
I haven't played keyboard live in a few years since an accident to my dominant wrist. But I have performed as a rapper in various venues in the Detroit area.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet has empowered the independent artist with more tools for self promotion. It has also forced mainstream artists to stop following trends of trying to deliver LPs full of gimmicky singles just for record sales. I believe it has helped out in terms of trying to level the playing field of independent vs. mainstream artist, but it will never close the gap as long as big record labels have the finances to do basically anything they want.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
ONLY if the deal benefited me. But seeing that deals no longer benefit the artist, I WON'T be a slave.
Band History:
KitCH'N Muzik is relatively new, but KORTyard Entertainment has been together since 1998.
Your influences?
Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Mannie Fresh, Alchemist, Neptunes, Jus Blaze, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, and many many others I listen to of various genres.
Favorite spot?
I love Virginia Beach, VA. Also.... Memphis, TN...... Houston, TX...... and my hometown.
Equipment used:
Pretty basic equipment. It's not about what you have as much as what you can do with it. Just listen to me and see what I mean.
Anything else...?
I wanna thank each and every person who takes the time out to listen to my material, it's greatly appreciated!!
