Charlotte, NC-based Guitarist & Vocalist Donnie Christianson blends progressive rock, metal, classic rock, ambient, soundscapes, techno, trance, funk, and neoclassical to create an instantly recognizable brand of scifi-influenced, melodic, instrumental guitar music.

His guitar influences include Aldo Nova, Rudolf Schenker, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Vinnie Moore, Neil Giraldo (Pat Benatar) and Zack Smith (Scandal); vocal influences are Geoff Tate, Steve Perry, Doro Pesch, Jon Bon Jovi, and Benny Mardones.

DC toured and recorded with the 80’s Canadian metal import Thor and later Southern hard rockers Dukes Nitemare in the late 90's, releasing several critically-acclaimed albums and opening shows for the likes of Styx, Kansas, and Def Leppard and appearing in Gig magazine and radio stations worldwide. He's also appeared on vocalist/guitarist Christina Raine's debut CD and the 1997 Star USA artists compilation American Tribute to a British Princess, and fronted the classic metal band Silverwing.

Donnie has composed numerous tracks for film and tv, production music libraries, video games, and 3d and children's animations, with music previously used on the Weather Channel, Discovery, and Survivor, and the short film Chauncey, the Christmas Dragon. He provided music, sound design, voice-overs, and Unreal audio engine programming for Damnation the Game (from Blue Omega) in 2004, and bumper tracks for the Dragon*Con Art Awards Shows from 2004-2006.

Donnie is currently playing lead guitar with the band Riding Giants, providing music for corporate videos, & promoting various solo projects.
