Considerer myself a band musician cause I´ve passed through any possible musical activity on my past that way. Think about anything where MUSIC could have place and I've been there sure someday. Those were many battles and from all of them learnt and have in clear THE MUSIC is a precious gift, as someone said: "The unic feeling that build on the earth can inspire till hit heaven itself".
On this project we are...
Why this name?
My violin is a copy of STRADIVARIUS, a german instrument signed by ERNST HEINRICH ROTH by the year 1949 that arrived to my hands from an integrant of The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. I appreciate a lot this "fidle", is a violin of great quality. From there I took my name, this is the story.
Do you play live?
I made my living of playing live. Mallorca, island on the mediterrenean touristic area had the right scennary for it; music was one of the many jobs this traffic is generating. Love the contact of audience... as violin has no frets the eyes are not in need of the fretboard situation can see people glances ans stablish an idyllic colloquy with my interlocutors. Sometimes you could cut with a knife the attention of people in silence, when it happens, the magic is there. In other words, a chemistry of the spirit. Other times when a tune is not working, spontaneously change into something of more circensial style to catch them. The goal is allways leave the audience with the irremissible wish of listening more. And can sign it anywhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I love you make this question to me.
:)
Music Industry has been the conductor of our common virtual orchestra. They dictated the way to follow, the form we have to step and even invented the rhythm we have to dance. TIMES ARE CHANGING said Dylan and never with so much reason: Is good for THE MUSIC that exist SOUNDCLICK SITES in the world for the simple and obvious reason that THE MUSIC is bohemian and is free. And do not erase even a comma of what is said!!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
They do exist?
Know many friends of mine master musicians, voices claiming on a desert, losers of their train, when on the success wagons are confortably sitting people empty of creativity, victims on their way of massive addle consumption. In other words are many unknown names that are not on the top and they join conditions enought for to be dancing with the stars today; THE INDUSTRY 's goal is to sell, not to listen music. An example. Go to www.broadjam.com and type GOLDEN VOICE you'll be listening the nicest, powerful voice I know. Why is not on the top?
Your influences?
Music goes by circles and I've been on those circles and on the road for many years and sure have the influence of people that wrote the songs I played. Love Chet Atkins, Marcel Dadi, Merle Travis, the voice of Joan Baez, the violin of Stephan Grapelli and Hungarians players; Afterlife, Andreas Vollenweider, Kitaro and J. M. Jarre as composers; the sound of Enya; Chopin, Bach, Beatles...
Anyway must say seriously everything is already invented in music and tendencies are running not precisely on the direction where creativity shines, winds are blowing clearly to make things easy, massive music of easy digestion. Confess cant resist sixty-four bars on a unique chord and with an extreme steady kick beating straight to my stomach.
Favorite spot?
Life gave great changes to me later on. Now I live in FAABORG a town at south of FYNN, DENMARK. Just the right seashore from where to write music. Hundred metres from the waves. Yesterday seagulls were fighting against the wind as at the end of summer they were stealing sherries from my garden trees. A paradise.
