Some scuba friends wanted to use my song in a cave diving video. I love the way it turned out, and I'm thankful to them. Please visit their website!

I am a one-man band. I play all of the instruments in my recordings, either through my synthesizer or "live."
I started out playing trumpet in the 5th grade and played until I graduated high school. In the Army, I picked up guitar, and after my honorable discharge, I put together a band and played local coffee houses in Japan.
Once I returned to the United States, I took a couple of years of piano lessons, but the teachers weren't teaching what I was interested in learning, so after two years of frustration, I quit taking lessons and began learning on my own.
I've missed having a band, and frustrated in my attempts to get one together, so I started dabbling in multi-track recording some years ago. In 2007, I started getting a little more serious about it and picked up some books on home studio mixing, sought lots of advice from friends, and I'm hopefully getting a little better at it.

Why this name?
I used to have night terrors, when I was a kid. Interspersed with those, were dreams full of music. All kinds... Some of it beautiful, some of it dark and ominous... Just like dreams themselves; Sometimes beautiful, sometimes frightening, sometimes savage and violent.
Do you play live?
Nothing professionally. I lived in Japan for a long time, and had a band for which I played rhythm guitar and sang. There's no rush like performing and seeing people getting into what you're doing... It's a great feeling!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the music industry is going to have to adjust to technology. I see a lot of good things, like unknown artists getting discovered, and I've seen some amazing stuff on YouTube. On the other hand, P2P is way out of hand.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't know... Probably not.
Band History:
Not much history, other than what I've related. I'm just a guy who does this as a hobby in a spare room in the house. Without music, I don't know what I'd be filling my spare time with...
Your influences?
I grew up with the American Graffiti Soundtrack, the Beatles, David Bowie, Elvis, and a whole slew of others. Favorite bands include The Cure, Tears For Fears, John Mayer, Nine Inch Nails, and I like Big Band, a little jazz, blues, ambient, and rock.
Favorite spot?
I love Cozumel, and visit it every year for the diving.
Equipment used:
Ibanez hollow-body electric, Kramer electric, Goya acoustic w/pickup, Alesis QS-8 Synth, Alesis DM5 Pro Electronic Drum Kit, Edirol UA-25 USB Audio Interface, Cakewalk Sonar, StudioProjects B1 Condenser Mic, and occasional glasses of single-malt scotch.

I think it is absolutely wonderful. Vicki's right about it feeling like you are spinning but I see the stars rather than dancing.

Overall, love it! thought the ending was especially cool (NO not because it was over!! LOL!!) the music has a feeling of a spinning dance... very sensual!

Frank, you broke out the dirty guitars for this one. Some great riffs here. Good work.
