Why this name?
It's my name :)
Do you play live?
All my music is composed on a PC, so I don't play live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well MP3 sharing has brought about a few lawsuits against illegal filesharers but it's also brought the price of CDs down. So I guess that's justice on both parts.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would indeed.
Your influences?
A lot of things influence me. For the main part it's personal experiences; periods in my life that inspire me. But I can hear a sample on a TV advert for example, and it can make me sit down and compose something just from hearing that.
Some big influences on my work are Hans Zimmer and John Barry. Also Cliff Martinez's film scores have had an influence on me too, but I've always liked ambient music. When I hear certain sounds, it conjures up images of my childhood. I'm forever trying to make my own music that can have that same effect, that moves me in the same way.
