2008-12-9 Caitlin made me some album art for Falling In Love On Accident. ;D
2008-12-5 - *wipes dust off of surfaces* Today, I wrote and uploaded a new song - "Falling In Love On Accident" - and it is far better than anything I have ever made before.
2008-3-11 - I finished "Courage Born of Despair" forever ago, but I forgot to mention it in my news. Also, "Candyflip" finished and uploaded tonight. In other news, I now have a sweet-action laptop.
2007-11-29 - I've updated some band info, and I have added a new song - Another Step Beyond.
2007-10-22 - Update. I've been changing my style, so my Soundclick has changed to maintain congruency between my current style and my site.
2007-10-7 - Soundclick created!

Welcome to my Soundclick. Most of the songs here are kinda old-ish, but I am going to resurrect this site and start adding new content.
I listen to a lot of music - some electronic, and some not - but my primary area of focus in my work is electronic music... specifically, trance.
I've been producing electronic music since the summer of 2005, but only recently have I seriously started to pursue being a musician as a career.

Why this name?
I am not sure. It just came to me one day, and I like it.
Do you play live?
My special moments are when I'm playing piano alone, in the dark.
Currently, Silver Lining does not play live, but I'd like to get a live act together eventually.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easy for me to connect with people who have the same musical tastes as I do. It allows me to discover new artists and new styles and forms of music. It allows people to work together from across the globe. I don't think that I can do this question justice with the kind of answer I could provide... its scope is too broad.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am not sure. I have never been in that position.

August 2007 - Rick Snoman's The Dance Music Manual arrives in mailbox. Production techniques take on a new form and improve drastically in a short time.
September 2007 - Silver Lining begins.
December 2008 - John learns how to properly make trance.
