Figga 4, we started as two seperate groups with two seperate styles. We starting recording a few songs together, and we all just connected. The number 4 felt complete, it was a cipher full circle. So the Figure 4 was appropiate.

Do you play live?

Of course we play live. We usually do our thing at Fat City on Tuesday nights and Liquids on Mondays. If we're not all there, one of us is bound to be there.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think that artists will need to put out more quality music. People will download music and only get the 2 or 3 songs off of a CD they like. So, you have to fill your record with qualtiy music for someone to buy it. It's a privlege that artists overlook.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Equipment used:

MPC-2000 the first joint, studio version though. I use Fruity Loops for the effects, but I do my sequencing in the MP. We use some live instrumentation also.
