Coming from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, SS is a rare breed for his genre. Combonations of metaphors and "real talk" act as an one-two punch in his lyrics. Even though he's just now nationally buzzing, SS has been at it since the young age of 9, so he's not new to the game at all. Listening to S's songs you will find a large array of street situations, emotions and conflicts...after all that's all he knows. Often compared to other Mainstream artist, none came to mind when I took a listen . However, his slang and cockiness was like an E-40 from another planet, and I loved it. The first thing that came to my mind when hearing some of S's tracks was: why isn't this kid rich? he's very intelligent in fact, when speaking to him in a Maryland studio one day he gave me a summary of the human brain and why calculus is difficult for alot of humans to compute (WOW!). Words really can't explain his style, all I can say is check him out. it's worth it.
