HIP-HOP ARTIST / PRODUCER originally from Buffalo, NY. relocated to Tampa, FL at age 14. Became involved in the street scene, drugs, alcohol abuse until age 17 when he became a committed follower of Christ. He worked in radio for nearly 5 yrs, went to Bible college in New Orleans and graduated with an AA degree in Urban Missions. This high school drop-out turned college grad uses Hip-Hop music to communicate the message of Christ, sharing his life struggles, how to overcome them and works with artrists as a producer and engineer as well. He recorded Urban D's album "UN.ORTHODOX", as well as having produced the title track by the same name. Now available from EMI Gospel and Hip-Hop.
Why this name?
I loved the meaning - that you were handed down something valuable from a previous generetion or parent. The commission of Jesus to his disciples to "GO" and preach and how we are to do the same thing.
Do you play live?
I have played live quite a bit in the past and still do so as much as I can. I will play anywhere within reason. A live perfomance is an incredible experience because it's about your audience just as much as it is about your music. One moment that I remember most is Flavor Fest 2002 - me and an MC named Nice rocked the stage and I was one of the very first acts that night. The crowd was live and the music was pumping, there was cameras as it was being filmed as well as radio and local television. A truly unique experience. After the set, listeners in the crowd came up to me and they were loving what I did AND what I was spitting.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I am excited about the future for Indie artists. I can't wait to see it's impact 10 yrs from now. It has truly opened up doors and allowed our music to be heard worldwide were previously it would have never happened.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am never closed to the option, I just think realistically.

Anything else...?
I am dead set on making music that will point people to God and his Son Jesus Christ!! Secondly, I am looking for artists to work with. Usually the producer looks for ppl to sell beats to but I like to find artists to produce and make great music with. Let me know if you have some creative genes in you, I might be the man to drop a song with. If you are down for both, let's build.
