My name came from the word mantis, which is Greek for "prophet" or "seer". I used prophecy as a metaphor for my overall style of lyricism. Instead of keeping the's' on the end, I just changed it to a 'z' and all of my aliases ensued.

I've performed in SC a couple times. It was a nervous experience because you never know what the people may think of you. I had many special moments like when I was asked to go do a radio interview after a performance I had done. I personally didnt think the performance went well enough for all the praise it had received.

The internet can either make you or break you as an artist. If you have a history of making great records but your album falls short due to whatever hindrances are possible at that time, most ppl will only want what they like. It's very rare these days to find someone who will support an artist's entire piece of work rather than just one song. But the internet can also promote an artist who is struggling to get any commercial attention.

I'm not sure. I'm most definately trying to incorporate my own label. I would rather succeed without the help of a parent company if possible. But if the right deal comes along, show me where to sign.

The Notorious B.I.G. has to be the number one rapper I look up to. He paved the way for guys who don't have the best image but can speak through their swagger and music. He literally birthed Jay-Z's legend and Jay-Z is the best rapper alive, hands down. All while Jay-Z made elbow room for Lil' Wayne. Biggie made Diddy the multi-millionaire he is. Biggie is the only rapper I know that EVERYONE quotes. All in all, I believe he's the greatest of all time.
