Julienne - A change of direction..

We have decided to remove the current songs we had playing on our site but are extremely grateful for the support and great responses that we have had with these tunes.
We are co-writers and producers of our own material and have decided to shortly promote new material that we feel will best represent our capabilities as songwriters. It will demonstrate a more acoustically driven approach to our songs.
Please come back and visit again soon. Love to know what you all think of this new direction and thank you for your interest and comments so far.

Hi and welcome to our page.

Julienne formed back in June 2006. The line up is now Julie Helen on lead Vocals/Bv's & Scott Thomas on Keyboards/bass lines/Bv's & Production

We will be adding some acoustic songs very soon........

Why this name?

Easy. An extension of Julie's name and we liked the sound of it.

Do you play live?

Yes. We have loads of live experience and have gigged loads in the past. We are yet to perform as Julienne we are planning on doing some London gigs shortly. We all enjoy performing to an audience live and hope that together we will have some special moments to come.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Well it gives all talented people an equal chance for success so fingers crossed and let's see how it works out for us.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Maybe. I think we would if it was right for us.

Band History:

We have been working on our Julienne project for some time now and have lots of creative energy and inspiration with new ideas that just keep on coming, which is great as it keeps us creatively happy.

Your influences?

Julienne's influences are - Sheryl Crow, Nerina Pallet, Stevie Nicks, David Coverdale, Chrissie Hynde, Michael McDonald, Elvis Costello, Steely Dan, Sam Brown, Kate Bush, Keane, Manic Street Preachers, Toto, The Who, Blondie, The Killers, Olivia Newton John, Tina Arena, Paul Weller, Linda Ronstadt and many many more.

Favorite spot?

The Chiltern Hills and London.

Triton Studio, Trinity, RD 700, Allen and Heath desk, Pearl Masters Kit, Lexicon Effects, Shure Beta mics, Qsc Amps, Peavey cabs etc.

We have had our fair share of experiences in music but one things for sure we are all still very hungry and ambitious and will never stop writing.
