Why this name?
I actually got this name by my own grandfather before he passed away....I was originally named DJ Sonar7 but he said to me "Nobody will listen to u with that kinda name.....ur just gonna be zero......" so I took that name in honour of him and became DJ Xero....
Do you play live?
I have played live at a few clubs in Ottawa here....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Do I really have to go into detail about that? :P
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends on who it is and the calibur of the artists I would be associated with and their lyrical prowness....
Band History:
I started Xero-1 Records back in 2005 with the intent to change the rap game in Ottawa & Canada in general......to find local talent & talent allover Canada and make them shine brighter than sunbeams hittin chrome :P......
Your influences?
All genres of music.....I have no 1 specific influence....
Favorite spot?
My absolute favourite city I've ever been to was Miami :D.....too many good memories out there....and my fav spot would have to be my home studio, Xero-1 Records....yeah yeah..it's run outta my basement :P.....it's how everybody starts :P
