Why this name?
Cuz Thats What We Are. We Shuda jus named our group 'Better Than You'. But on the real, Y.G.'s old name was Young P.I.T., and after officially linking up with Infloenza, the name kinda just stuck. D.A. liked it when he got on, and we've been rolling with it ever since.
Do you play live?
Not yet, even thought we've done our own thing by ourselves, but never as a whole group. We plan to start in 2008.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music more available 2 the people, we've gotten more fans over the internet than in person.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You think we wont? We will, but thats not the primary focus. D.A. is currently signed to Inner-Circle Enterprises (even tho they sh*** on him continuously), and Y.G. is shopping.
Band History:
The Group consists of 2 members.P.I.T.(Poetically Inclined Thinkas) is D.A. and Y.G., who r more backpack rappers(like Common,Mos Def, Joe Budden, Royce 5'9", Lupe Fiasco) wit a battle rappers intensity. They first started writng hoping 2 get on with Def Poetry, but slowly got involved with Hip Hop 2.They make a lot of references 2 psychology n have acronyms 4 every damn thing. They r more positive rappers overall, but do boast that their lines r so ill they create lyrical homocide.

YOUNG GENIUS
The creator of the group, Genius is the quiet, reserved one.Known as the pacifist of the group, Genius usually restricts himself from talking about guns and drugs, and just likes rapping. He is fond of double entredes, wordplay, an oft-kilter rhyme scheme and usually piles similies on top of similies.

DON ADONIS
The livewire of the group, as for his explosive flow, derogatory punchlines and knack for making fun of other artists (both famous and underground). Usually focuses his rhymes on the way Hip Hop is ran by frauds, and is hoping to put a stop to that. He focuses on delivery and wordplay, and is known for metaphors every now and then, and can deliver a mean story.
Your influences?
Lupe Fiasco, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9, Mobb Deep, Common, Kanye West, Black Milk
